The Bugle Boy continues to command attention.  Lane has recently received requests to play from some of the real icons of American Music, the likes of Ian McLagan ( coming Saturday, September 5), and Janis Ian ( October 24).  Get your tickets early for these and the other great shows in the late summer and fall Bugle Boy lineup.  Many of the coming concerts are certain to sell out, and you don’t want to be disappointed.

The Bugle Boy Foundation has launched a new initiative, called “ Sponsors’ Circle” . This represents a body of fans and supporters providing funds that will allow us to continue to bring artists of the highest level to The Bugle Boy stage.  Many artists who have played before have seen their careers take off.  They now play larger venues, and earn more money than they can make in the intimate, 80 seat Bugle Boy.   Others have yet to play here, but we can add them to our lineup by offering a guaranteed fee. 

We’ll continue to present top artists on a regular basis.  The Sponsors’ Circle will allow the Foundation to make certain artist guarantees, subject to resource availability, input from Founders’ Circle members, and board approval.  Ticket sales alone can’t always be expected to provide the funds needed, and of course we’re also committed to keeping ticket prices affordable. 

In addition, the Foundation guarantees a minimum of $100 to every artist.  If, for any reason, a very small audience shows up, the artist gets at least some food and gas money. 

To join the Sponsors’ Circle, and to be recognized as a sponsor of certain underwritten shows, takes a minimum annual donation of $300.  For $1000 or more, you can be a sole concert sponsor.

You may also support the Sponsors’ Circle with your donation of at least $50.  Just tell us that you want your donation to go to this purpose.  For a limited time, every donation of $50 or more qualifies you for either a free “ Live At The Bugle Boy”  CD, or a 1-year subscription to Texas Music Magazine.  Be sure to pick up a copy of our new Sponsors’ Circle flyer the next time you make a show, or you can make an online donation at http://www.thebugleboy.com/donate.php
