Update  from the president.

2009 is off to a great start, and support for the Bugle Boy Foundation continues to gather momentum.  I’ve been meeting with individuals who are leaders in the community  and who, for whatever reason, have not yet become Bugle Boy patrons and supporters.  I believe that these efforts will begin to show positive results, soon. Look for increased media coverage, and I also anticipate growing  attendance as these folks and others continue to find their way into the Bugle Boy fold. Keep doing your part by coming to shows as often as you can, and bringing your friends.  All you have to do is get them here for the first time, and they’ll be fans, too.

The Bugle Boy Foundation represents all fans and supporters, so be sure to share with us any thoughts you have about how we can best elevate the level of community support.  We want to keep getting better, so be sure to tell us what you think.  If you have some time to volunteer, you may want to contribute in that way.  We can most likely find a suitable assignment for you.  If there’s something in particular that you have in mind that you can do, or that you’d like to see us do, bring that to our attention, too.

Be sure to get your tickets now for Sunday, February 15 when we’ll be hosting our first benefit show for the Bugle Boy Foundation, featuring Americana Music hero, famous Canadian singer/songrwriter Fred Eaglesmith and his band. A special feature will be the auction of a beautiful guitar,  autographed by numerous  great artists who’ve played The Bugle Boy over the past year. The live auction will be during the break, and this unique instrument will go home with the lucky highest bidder. All proceeds from the auction will go to the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter serving Fayette County.  This show is now less than 2 weeks away, and we want to be sure it’s a sellout, so call 800-838-3006 now. Showtime is 4:00 pm.

Check the BB website for a complete lineup of coming artists, and we hope to see you soon, and often. Again, THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
